Matumau Lodge

Matumau Lodge is located on the banks of the scenic Melinau River, adjacent to Gunung Mulu National Park in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. It is the perfect base for visiting and experiencing the attractions of the nearby Mulu World Heritage Site.

The Lodge is conveniently located 2 minutes walk from the Mulu airstrip and a short distance from the national park headquarters. Our name is derived from the Berawan word ‘numau’ which means ‘a clear view’, hence, ‘the lodge with a clear view’. Matumau Lodge operates as a small and cozy guesthouse with a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The lodge was originally designed as a family house with guest rooms, large living areas and a garden overlooking the river.

Matumau offers six spacious, air-conditioned guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms and operates on a half-board basis with room rates including breakfast and dinner.  Guests can also relax in the attractively decorated living-cum-dining area and on the large covered decks which offer views of Mount Mulu.

Matumau Lodge is operated by Borneo Adventure with day-to-day management carried out by Denny Belawing Wan and his family who are Berawan from the Mulu area.

Twin/Double Sharing	RM 260 per room per night (inclusive of breakfast & dinner for 2 people)
Single	RM 220 per room per night (inclusive of breakfast & dinner for 1 person)
Triple	RM 300 per room per night (inclusive of breakfast & dinner for 3 people)
