Semenggoh Wildlife Centre is one of four orangutan rehabilitation centres in the world and a great place to get up close to orangutans.

Depart for the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre (approx 30 mins) at 0815hrs and observe the orangutans during feeding time. Proceed to Anah Rais, a peaceful Bidayuh village, where you can learn about the culture of the Land Dayak, who were once headhunters. Visit the baruk (head house) where human skulls can be seen. Return and proceed to a crocodile breeding farm and mini zoo that include birds and some animals endemic to Borneo. On the way back to the city, call in at one of the pottery factories on the outskirts of Kuching. Return to hotel.
