0815hrs or 1400hrs – Depart for Semenggoh Wildlife Centre located 24 kilometres from the centre of Kuching.  This orangutan rehabilitation centre trains orphaned or rescued orangutans how to survive in the wild. Over 20 orangutans live in forest within the nature reserve and often return to the centre at feeding times. Upon arrival, head to the briefing area. After a brief talk from the rangers, take a short walk along a trail to the feeding area to watch the orangutans come down from the trees for a free meal.

This tour can be arranged at your convenience either in the morning or in the afternoon. Our tours to Semenggoh are arranged to coincide with the orangutan feeding times which take place at approximately 0900-0930 hrs – and 1500-1530 hrs. Please indicate which time is best for you.
