Day 1 Kuching – Menyang Tais (L/D)
0800 hours pick up from hotel in Kuching and drive to Batang Ai reservoir. Along the way stop at Lachau Bazaar. Stroll around the shops and the small native market and have an early lunch in a local coffee shop. Then continue your journey, arriving at Batang Ai Lake around 1330-1400 hours. Then proceed by longboat (30 minutes) across the lake and upriver to Menyang Tais. Arrive at the Menyang Tais longhouse jetty. Then take a 15 minute walk to the longhouse. Upon arrival meet your Iban hosts. In the evening, relax on the ruai (common verandah) and spend time with the Iban people. Overnight in the longhouse.
Day 2 Menyang Tais – Jungle Walk – Aiman Batang Ai Resort (B/L)
Following breakfast depart for a short jungle walk around the village area or visit one of the local farms nearby. Return to the longhouse and have lunch. After lunch board a longboat and travel to the Aiman Batang Ai Resort & Retreat. Afternoon at own leisure. Dinner (on own account) at the Resort. Overnight at Aiman Batang Ai Resort & Retreat.
Day 3 Batang Ai – Kuching (B/L)
Following breakfast, morning at own leisure. 1000 hours take the ferry from the Resort to the Batang Ai Lake jetty. Then travel overland back to Kuching stopping for lunch along the way. Arrive in Kuching approx. 1630 hours and be dropped off at your hotel.
Tour & transfer, 1 night in the longhouse, 1 night Aiman Batang Ai Resort, meals (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner), English speaking guide.

This tour is offered on a ‘Seat-in-Coach’ basis. Weather conditions and the water level of local rivers may force our guides to modify the tour in the interests of safety. For example, some trekking activities are not possible during heavy rain or a thunderstorm. No refunds will be offered if a trek is cancelled or boat transfer delayed due to bad weather or river conditions. This tour generally does not include staged cultural activities such as blowpipe demonstrations, cultural dances, cock fighting, etc.
